All right, navigate to jilion on your iPad and vote in the poll how long it took to finish loading (buffering).
I am aware everyone has different internet speeds, but the test is still relevant.

The video has a 496x208 resolution for the iPad and goes for 2:13.

these 2 concepts are diametrically opposed. what could possibly be ascertained by a smattering of people typing their invariably different results?

what might be relevant is if everyone ran the test with a.) their laptop, b.) their iPhone, then c.) their iPad, while making sure no other devices are accessing their network, and maintaining the same position relative to their router.

Less than a second.

Actually, I thought I cancelled this post hence why there is no poll. Somehow it ended up getting posted.
But it is relevant, because if the majority of users show less than 3 minutes load time for the video.

That makes it obvious that anyone getting too much more (particularly with a good connection) has something wrong, and can likely fix it and get a better speed.

40 seconds. Though playing video on YouTube is quite an issue for me, all other video streaming works very well. Just ran speedtest as well. 11mbps down.

mine didn't buffer through the whole movie at once.. but it stayed ahead of it and didn't stop playing.

my router is going through a few walls to get to my iPad.. I get a much better connection at the office.

Started playing immediately, no buffeting, and the whole video loaded in 24 seconds.
