If this has been asked before or discussed elsewhere can someone please point me in correct direction as I did a search and couldnt find anything.
I have a 13" macbook and a 3G iPhone. I am currently on holiday and am using a BTFon hotspot on the macbook however the iphone doesnt find this hotspot at all (I guess something to do with the hardware).
My question is I am going to be getting a wifi ipad soon and wondered if the iphone cant find the hotspot at my holiday location will the ipad fare better? is it more similar to the macbook? sorry if this seems daft question but I am not very techy and am hoping that my ipad will be able to be used where I holiday (otherwise I need to get a 3G ipad)
