Hi,
Both my wife and I have an iPad. We have just had our broadband upgraded to full-fibre and I am able to get full speed on my iPad, but my wife can only get 50mbps. Have tried rebooting and turning wifi on/off with no result.

Can anyone help?

Regards

Ant

like to add to @Sheepish-Lord: which WLan router do you use? Are both iPads booked into the same Ghz band (2.4 or 5 Ghz)? The 50mbps value you provide is generated how? maybe you like to run a speed test to the same server using e.g. Wifiman?

How do I find out which Ghz band an iPad is booked into?

If you are lucky your router will give you separate SIDS for 2.4 and 5 Ghz. Unfortunately to "simplify" things some routers, such as the one I have from Comcast, merge them both into one SSID. Clients supposed automatically select the fastest one. In my experience they don't.

When my IOS network slows down I reset network settings and that usually fixes the problem. You do have to re-enter all passwords though.
