I just finished installing iPadOS 14 on my iPad Mini 5 (256 GB WiFi model).

Stability seems to be good. I've run several apps without any crashes, and everything seems to be running smoothly.

One annoying thing is that widgets on the home screen only works in landscape mode.

I'll add more observations to this thread in the coming days and weeks. So far, fairly good.

Are the apple pencil features that were highlighted in WWDC, all working on Mini 5? thx.

I am backing up my Mini 5 in prep to do the beta. I was also disappointed in the way Widgets are handled in iPadOS.

Ipad mini 5 also waiting on impressions before I take the plunge, although I'm less excited because the widgets on iPad OS seem much less functional than iOS.

I use the Logitech Crayon with my iPad Mini 5. I haven’t tried using it yet beyond verifying that it does write in the GoodNotes app.
