After updating to iPadOS 15.1, the screen refresh rate of my iPad Pro 12.9 2020 seems to be capped. All animations are very sluggish and it looks like about 30hz. It for sure doesn‘t hit 60hz or even the 120hz the promotion display is capable of.

Does anyone else have this issue? Restarting my iPad didn‘t help.

Update:

My iPad set itself into a low power mode that was introduced in iPadOS 15 which led to my issue. So far it never happened to me. As soon as i turned low power mode off everything is back to normal.

Interesting. Wasn't aware of the low power mode. Is it the same as iPhone, now on iPad?
