iPadOS 15.5 Battery not charging

Since I've updated to 15.5 the battery will no longer charge when plugged in. The only way to fix it is to reboot but then the next time I go to charge it.. the same problem again.

Anyone else?

Plugged in where? Apple offers some steps to go through in case there are charging problems with an iPad.

Does any other -other than the charger - USB-C connected device (card reader, USB-stick, SSD, etc.) work reliably? If not, let Apple have a look on it - which is probably what you should do anyway if this persists.

I am having the problem also with my 9.7 iPad Pro. Started right after upgrading to 15.5.

same problem here! I tried powering it off leaving it plugged in to charger and that seems to get it to charge some.

the Apple steps sound like a good idea, but it is not helping my charging issue after the 15.5 update....

Whenever I've had this issue (mostly as a result of Public Beta updates) - soft resetting the iPad (volume up, volume down, lock button) would do the trick for me. I'd make sure that the iPad is UNplugged when it is being soft reset and then plug it back in. Sometimes it took multiple attempts.
Alternatively, completely shutting down the iPad and leaving it plugged into the charger for couple hours does the trick. Hope it helps!

I have recorded the ipad mini6 battery charging issue, and upload to the youtube.

in my opinion, it is kinda software issue, and the issue occurs right after the update of ios 15.5;

really dispt. on apple, this time.!!
