IPadOS 15.5 - Multitasking dots visible in full screen YouTube

Hi all,

Since upgrading to iPadOS 15.5 today I’ve noticed that the multitasking dots at the top of the screen don’t disappear anymore in full screen videos. Anyone else seeing the same thing or is it just my iPad being funky?

It’s happening on my iPad Pro M1 on iPadOS 15.5 as well.

I’ve been on the betas… haven’t experienced the multitasking dots disappearing.

On iPhone xr the dots disappear, but the home bar at the bottom stays permanently.

Hm, strange. Maybe try restarting? Or removing the app and reinstalling?

Home bar and 3 dots permanent on videos, not the best viewing experience.

It was a faulty Youtube Update. It also happened with iOS 15.4.1
Google released a new Youtube Update yesterday which fixes the error.
