Hi All,

I tend to keep a set of tabs open on my browser on my mobile devices and sometimes don't go back to those pages for a while (days sometimes weeks). I like Safari but over time it seems to forget what page was open in a tab and you just end up with no page open in it which I really don't like. I tend to keep pages open for various things I need for work, as well as articles I plan to read later and would rather they stay on the page I leave them on.

I've gravitated towards Firefox as it never seems to forget what pages you have open. I don't know why this is such a difficulty for Safari

Now we have "desktop Safari" does anyone know if this behaviour changes?

Yes and there is some other bug (or bizarre hidden ‘feature’) where pressing on a link fills the browser with just that one page and all the other tabs disappear. Not cool

Yeap I’ve had this happen, I had a window with loads of tabs open. And it just vanished!!.. keeping a second Safari window with only 3 tabs on it. I also don’t like the split view as it’s nigh on impossible to make it take half the screen up.
