iPadOS multiple Pages instances

Has anyone figured out how to run multiple Pages instances on iPadOS?

As seen in this Engadget video. https://www.engadget.com/2019/06/04/ipados-first-look-wwdc/

Ive tried replicating what he demonstrates in that video to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated!

The app will need updated - only seen it work with built in apps so far - sadly it isn’t a free feature and apps need to be updated
