Hi

I followed the steps to install the public beta IPadOS version. After all the installation I can’t see any difference between my previous IOS12 and IPadOS. About software is upto date with IOS 13.0. I don’t know where I went wrong. This has happened to both my iPad’s.

My iPad version is 6thGen.

Is dark mode there?

The beta does show iOS 13.0, not iPadOS 13.0. That's normal. And really, it looks mostly like iOS 12 cosmetically.

I haven't really put the beta through its paces, just been on Safari for the most part. On Safari, there's a new download icon on the toolbar and the share sheet has changed.

Turn it to landscape and swipe from the left. If you get the Widget screen on the left with all the normal icons pushed to the right then you are definitely running iPadOS

iOS 13 is iPadOS. The dock icons are smaller. Home screen icons are smaller.
