Hello,

Any here with developer account? I got questions about widgets. Are they really only on the first screen and rest of screens are just icons? When I swipe down to Notification Centre, widgets are still in the middle column as was on iOS 11 and 12?

Was Share Menu (“Open with...”) reworked? Is there more user control (like hiding unwanted apps in menu)?

Any screenshots?

THANKS!!!

Well, apparently the widgets only works on the first screen AND only in landscape.

And no longer do you swipe down to access the Notification Centre, you have to swipe to the left in both portrait and landscape (that’s if you choose not to keep it on the home-screen).

Damn. I was hoping they could allow swiping down from top left or right to call control Center...
Clearly Apple does not care people who uses left hand mainly to use the iPhone.
And widgets for first page only? Hmm...android has multiple pages of widgets.

All I can say, it's better than it was before.. for them to have the Notification Centre directly in the middle was wasted space. If anything, I wish they go back to the previous concept when the Notification Centre was two columns instead of one.

Android has multiple pages? Android for tablet don't really exist anymore... j/k.

Thanks for info.

I also watched some YouTube videos, is it truth you can pin only two widgets on home screen?

Nah, you can pin as many widgets you want. Not sure the limit, but you just scroll down to see your widgets.. it's similar to previous versions. But first you scroll up.. to activate it, that's if you have it permanently on the homescreen.

Edit... I was wrong. I was thinking of widgets you can scroll through, not pinning on the home screen.
