I recently got an iPad Pro 11, having upgraded from the ipaidPro from 2016, which was fantastic to use, especially with regards to its battery life.

With the iPad Pro 11inch, I have everything like "background refresh" and bluetooth off and location services off. Even with SLEEP MODE, the battery drains about 3-5% over night or during the day when in standby. Compare this to my old iPadPro, in which three days would go by and you are barely down 10% of battery.

Before I send this back for a replacement, I'd like to know what your levels of normal drains are for your iPad 11 inch? WIFI model 64g.

Thanks a lot!

Not normal at all. I have everything ON on mine (I don’t get the point to buy a powerful device and switch features off 🤷🏻‍♂️) and it barely drain 1% overnight (but many times it doesn’t drain at all).

This isn’t normal. But battery ageing could do this.
He said he recently bought it, so I don’t think battery age could be a factor.

That sounds completely abnormal.

Thank you. Just returned it on amazon and ordered the same with 256g. Will receive next week. Good to know that it’s abnormal

The weird thing is that in the course of normal use, the drain is very normal. It’s only during standby when there is no use that the battery continues to deplete. Thanks again.
