Hello,
Im interested in getting this ipad for LumaFusaion to edit 4K HDR videos, basically LumaFusion is the only noob friendly soft that accepts HDR and as someone that never edited videos, i think the idea of using touch screen looks appealing and the fact i wont have to load my PC and just put the ipad aside to render the video.
Whats the opinion here? Is this a good device to edit video, any personal experience?

Also having an tablet is a bonus, especially such big one, i can always read a game guide while i play on my TV.

I do own watch and iphone 12 max pro so i already have apple devices [lol the way how watch gets developed i think ill keep my iphone for as long as it works while upgrading the watch, it pays, it writes, it makes calls, has sms, no reason to bring the phone unless you need to take a photo/video]

I heard that next M2 pro wont be a super huge upgrade, also where im from we dont have Apple direct selling but a license holder and 3rd party importers, the official one is more expensive of course, and the thing is these non official take time to import, so now i can buy the ipad pro 12.9 for same price as official air 256gb 2022 [both wifi only]
If i wait for iPad pro M2 its 4-5 months after official release to get a better price and the price difference is huge like 350$ right now for 12.9 256gb official vs 3rd party importer [in both cases the products are legal and have same waranty, its just the offical license holder is greedy and imports from EU and 3rd parties import same products from Asia which is cheaper but takes time, also we get f**d by taxes like no otehr country and have 17% vat on top of import taxes, and so on.

I have LumaFusion on my 2021 12.9 Pro and use it for editing 4K videos from my 12 Pro Max - works great.

I have 3 questions
1. Can you manually set the encoding bitrate and quality in LumaFusion or just use pre-sets?
2. Can you edit 60fps videos?
3. whats the rendering speed like? Say if you use Normal/Medium quality [Dont know how its called in LumaFusion], is it Faster then original video or slower?

On my PC when I render on GPU [NVenc] at Normal preset I get about 80fps speed for 60fps video, when i render x264 to x265
When I render x265 to more compressed x265, i can get up to double the fps

High Quality preset is tad slower then original video, i cant afford that for game video that can be 3-5 hours per video file

Here are a couple good videos. These guys seem really impressed.
