iphon 7 wont plug in

all of the sudden between yesterday and just now, my charger won't plug in to the lightning port. just pushes in with no solid click, or feeling. what happened.

Check Settings > General > Lightning > Click. Your click might have been accidentally turned off. /s

Take a flashlight and examine the inside of the lightning port.

Examine the connector on the cable.

This usually happens when lint or dust accumulates in the lightning port. Take a clean toothpick or a clean, dry and soft toothbrush and try to clean the port. Don't be tempted to blow into it. Saliva might make things worse.

Yep, you'd be surprised at what can accumulate inside a charge port...yuck!
