Hi all,

I just got my IPhone. I am running ITunes 7.4.0.28 version on Windows XP.
I read from various posts in this forum and other sites that if i use 7.4.0 then i will be able to sync the ringtones with iphone. I did that and i can see the them in the ringtone list in itunes and in iphone.

But when i select them, i am not able to hear them. I synced two of them. I can see them and select them but not hear them. They are with m4r extension, AAC coded, 64kbps/128kpbs stereo 30 sec custom ringtone.

The phone is not hacked or jailbreaked.

I am not sure what i am doing wrong here. Not sure why those files are not playing. I checked with AtomicParsley and i can see that --stik value 14 is there. Its a refurbished 4G phone that i got from apple store. its version 1.1.1(3A109a) and modem firmware 04.01.13_G

Appreciate any help.

Thanks

itoner is gr8

I just downloaded a free 30 full trial version of the latest itoner ringtone software.
It is so simple to use and I have put about 10 or so mp3 songs as ringtones which I love.
Don't pay apple.
Here is a link to it below; you won't be sorry( I have 1.1.1 firmware on my unlocked iphone)
