iPhone 1.1.2 version UK

just been given a new iphone with the firmware version 1.1.2 is there anyway of unlocking this version? i need some help on what to do....please

As far as I'm aware, you cannot unlock a UK iPhone that comes out of the box (OOB) with firmware 1.1.2.

cheers mate....having a nightmare....not sure what im doing

not sure if its working because when i go to reboot step 1.4 it doesnt seem to go any further than that
the iphone just has the itunes logo and a usb thing showing...is that right?
