Since updating to the iPhone 11 PRO from the XS I've faced countless call drop outs.

This seems to be a global issue (I am in Australia) and its across multiple carries in Australia.

I've tried everything from obtaining a new sim card going down the eSIM route, resetting Network Settings, Restoring my phone
all to no avail.

Is anyone else experiencing these issues and resolved it??

I've noticed issues going from a Qualcomm iPhone X to the XS Max and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Intel modems are not as good in low-signal areas :/

Edit:
Faster speeds, but less reliable.

It's consistently poorer in low-signal areas between the XS Max and 11 Pro Max.

I have never had this issue with previous iPhones and I've had every iPhone since the iPhone 3G

I noticed this as well when I upgraded from my XS (was on the iOS 13 beta, though there weren't any issues) to the 11 Pro. Not only with mobile data but Wifi (it shows way less networks than before and has a hard time finding our 5Ghz network) as well.
Tried everything I could think of (checked my carrier coverage/network, tried another SIM card, deleted network settings, restored phone & restored my backup, restored without any backup at all).

On Friday I went to my nearest Apple Store and explained the situation to the Genius Bar employee. He ran the usual diagnostics, restored the phone again and finally told me that my phone finds way less Wifi networks than his phone does. He then told me that they'll replace my phone for free and he gave me a brand new iPhone 11 Pro.

Well, I used this new phone over the weekend and I don't think that this new one performs any better than my previous 11 Pro in terms of Wifi/mobile data.
At this point I think it has to be a software problem with iOS since my iPad Pro does seem to find less Wifi networks as well since upgrading to iPadOS 13. I mean what are the chances to get two "faulty" phones in a row?

I’m on my 3rd iPhone 11 Pro since launch date and I’ve experienced the snow issue
I’ve had every iPhone since the iPhone 3G and I’ve never experienced this issue of constant call drops slow data

I can’t pinpoint if it’s actually a hardware or software issue..

Damn, I just hope it’s a software issue. I don’t want to replace it again. Haven’t tried the iOS 13.2 beta yet, though.

Watching this thread. Lte is horrible at work but everywhere else is fine. Previous XS wasn’t as bad.

pretty much 100% same story as me. Went through new sim, all troubleshooting options and they ended up giving me a new 11 pro max. Same issue.. I’m hoping they will do a software update to fix this, it happens in generally lower reception areas however all other phones I have tested (friends phones, incl iPhone X) have worked fine. Ps I’m in melb Australia

I have AT&T and with my iPhone XS Max last year, I had slower service at work, but it still worked. This year with the 11 max, it’s been frustrating because my data would be extremely slow. Some days I wouldn’t even get a page to load. Called ATT, they tried to trouble shoot. My Genius Bar appointment wasn’t until Saturday (earliest I can get). Nothing worked with chat with att. Last night I stopped by the att store to see if they had any suggestions. One rep was extremely helpful and said that if I switched my sim to an esim, it’ll help reception. At work as we speak, and reception is working! Shockingly, it works. I’m amazed and feeling like it’s too good to be true. Good luck to everyone else!

Glad, that it finally works for you!
I just ordered an esim-profile, since its free for me to order... Will take 3-5 days to arrive but don't have anything to loose. Just hoping for the best.
Anyway, thanks again for your tip!

Are you with Telstra?

I’m thinking it’s att reception now. After I wrote the above message, shortly afterwards, my phone was useless up until now. Couldn’t text, couldn’t load any pages. Felt like I had a bricked phone. It just suddenly wants to work again now. I have no idea what is happening. I wish I never Upgraded from my xs now.

I’m not sure it’s an AT&T thing. I’m on Sprint and have seen my bars fluctuate between 1 and 4 bars in the exact same location so far this morning and have also fluctuated between fast and slow speeds so far as well.
