Hi,
I just recently got a replacement iPhone 11 Pro due to my other one being faulty.

I am having problems with it when it is charging. When it goes over 80%, it will get stuck at random percentages for 30 minutes - 1 hour. For example it has been stuck at 87% for the past half hour. EDIT: it has been stuck at 98% now for a full hour.
When it gets stuck and the battery percentage starts moving again it will charge about 10% in five minutes and then slow down again. I didn’t have this problem with my other 11 Pro and I have tried using other chargers and the problem still persists :( it is running iOS 13.6

I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if it is a software problem?
Thanks :)

You might want to check if Optimize Battery Charging is enabled. The blurb under the setting says: "To reduce battery aging, iPhone learns from your daily charging routine so it can wait to finish charging past 80% until you need to use it."

hi! Yes I have turned optimised battery charging off, but unfortunately the problem still persists :(

What kind of replacement is it? Sounds like a hardware problem.

Hi, it has an “N” in the model number which I have googled and it just says it is a model given as a replacement when a service request has been made

I really hope it’s not a hardware issue :(

Hey buddy, dont worry. It is a feature. Past 80% it will be slower to chaged upto 100%.
this is to keep your battery safe and healthy for long term usage.

Keep the battery optimisation changing on. Avoid charging level below 20% and above 80%.
