iPhone 11 pro issue with CarPlay

Just set up my iPhone 11 pro with CarPlay on my 2018 BMW X2. While I do like the new interface, I am finding that songs are skipping/cutting in and out frequently. I didn’t have this problem with my iPhone X. I’m connecting the phone to the car via lightning cable. Anyone else have this issue?

Try to connect wirelessly and see if you have the same issues.

Doesn’t seem to matter... I tried both via lightning cable and Bluetooth. At this point, I’m guessing it will require an update by either Apple or BMW.

Same thing is happening on my Bimmer. Hopefully ios 13.1 fixes that.

So today, I disconnected CarPlay and reconnected the phone to the car via Bluetooth. The music was clean and crisp and as it should. I reconnected Carplay again, and immediately, the skips and cutouts began again. Might have to just use blue tooth/connected drive until this issue is fixed.
