iPhone 11 Pro Max Flickers

Has anyone noticed a screen flicker with the 11Pro max? For example when going through photos or watching movies the screen flickers like brightness is trying to adjust to the content on screen.

auto brightness is off on my device and this is very frustrating!

Yep I have experienced this in Photos app, I haven’t watched any video on the pro max so not sure about that. But this issue is definitely related to what Apple called “View Full HDR” aka boosting the max brightness from 800 nits to 1200 nits. When I turn off that option in Photos app, the flicker goes away.

I am having the same problem. Already got a new one. It does the same thing. Not sure it’s a hardware problem or not. My girlfriend’s 11 pro max doesn’t have that issue. However her phone is running iOS 13.0.
