So starting yesterday, I noticed my Pro Max makes a weird clicking noise when I do stuff like select something, click lighty on a web page, swipe up from te bottom to go to the home screen, change the volume with the buttons, or when I zoom out on a web page. It happens with the lighter of the two haptic feedback levels, if that makes sense to you. (For example, the rumble felt when sliding to silent mode does not click.) So besides feeling the lighter rumble I now also hear a quiet, but still audible click. I only hear it in a quiet environment when the phone is close, like laying on the couch or on the toilet, and it’s really starting to annoy me.

Is this something that all iPhones have and I just started noticing or is something broken in my Taptic Engine? Anyone with the same issue?
Is there a connection to the latest iOS update? I read a lot about a weird click in iOS 11.2 beta or something that was fixed through a software update.

PS: it’s a green 11 Pro Max, 64 GB, running on iOS 13.2.2

Hi, I realized that I got the same problem for my 11 as you mentioned above, and it is annoying . Do you have any updates on this issues?

Yeah, we’re mostly discussing it here:
