iPhone iPhone 11 randomly switches to night mode?

Whilst browsing Safari for example it randomly switches to dark mode. Must be a bug surely?

Was the top bar (where the URL is) and the bottom bar (where the bookmarks bar is) in dark mode? Or was it just the website itself?

If it was just the website itself then it's bug pertaining to that specific website.

No the whole phone went to dark mode

I have dark mode set to do at sunset and sunrise but I wonder whose set and rise they use. It's dark here long before it goes to dark mode and light long before it changes back.
