Hello to everyone who sees this thread,
My 11 Pro Max runs almost burning hot when I’m on Safari. Within a few minutes it starts lagging to a noticeable point, then starts heating up fast.
On Safari all I do is look at articles, news, an online game, and just surf the internet in general.
Personally I think the A13 Bionic chip is the culprit, but what do you think it is?
Help is greatly appreciated.
 
Sorry for being late to the party. My 11 gets hot too. I guess 17.7 doesn't do any good to an iPhone 11. I hade to revert to 3G since 17.7. It completely ****ed LTE 4G to a halt. So Safari makes your 11 hot, you're not alone and I dinged the web to know what to do about it and could not find any other tip than use another browser. So fed up with the updates...
