Does your iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro get better or worse reception than your previous iPhone? Please note that I am looking to compare previous versions of iPhones to the new iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro only.

I never had issues with reception on my 6S, and still don't on my 11 Pro.

My reception on my 11 Pro is the same as what I had on my Intel AT&T X. Poll doesn't allow for no change, maybe add that.

You should have a "same" choice. Actually, my vote would be "same as previous phone, which was terrible." The last iPhone I had that had decent cell reception was the 6S. Carrier is VZW.

I think on my 11PM, I may have had to toggle airplane once or twice compared to daily on the XS Max to get cellular data back.

It just depends on the network coverage mostly. With all of my iPhone I consistently have issues at the same locations. Otherwise no issues in day to day use.

My iPhone 11 holds a signal in my all metal garage, whereas my iPhone XR would have no signal. I can now make and receive phone calls, send and receive messages and browse the web inside.

I didn't have any issues with my XR (which an excellent phone all around, great value), but I feel my Pro Max is a bit better. My office is in an area with poor signal, so every improvement is noticeable.

We had one of those many years ago. That’s a very impressive report - those things are basically a Faraday cage.

The reception on my son’s 11 is just as bad as my XSM. And it’s often slightly slower — LTE speed test wise.

Neither has as good of reception as my previous 6S.

Both phones generally work just fine when we’re out and about (on AT&T) but any time we’re in a HS gymnasium, Rec center, elementary school, etc. (concrete and steel construction) the 11 and XSM are often completely useless.

But I still get usable service on my 6s.

God I hope the 12 is better with the Qualcomm x55. But given all of the new antenna shenanigans I’m not holding my breath.

Strongly considering switching to Verizon after being a Comcast Metrophone, Cellular One, Cingular, AT&T customer for 25 years now.

NJ/PA market.
