Most posts I see are understandably about the sizes of the alleged 5.4 and 6.7” phones. My curiosity lies with the 6.1” Pro. Since the higher end models have had thinner bezels than the XR/11, do you think it’s safe to assume the 6.1” Pro will be a tad smaller than the 11 dimension wise?

I always thought the X/XS/11 screen was just a smidge too small, albeit comfortable to hold. If the new 6.1” Pro does end up between the size of the 11 Pro and 11 I think it would just about be perfect for my tastes.

I reckon you are right. It is also rumoured it will be thinner (around 0.29 inch) so it should be lighter as well which is more relevant for me when holding it.

It’s likely it will be slightly smaller because of the thinner bezels (going to OLED instead of LCD) as well as not having rounded corners

I believe there are dimensions based off the CAD files that have been on the internet that confirm the 6.1” iPhone 12 series will be As you suspect, between X/XS/11 Pro in size And the XR/11

This is the first time I am hearing somebody call the next iPhone 11S. Are there any concrete rumors for the naming?

No. I just threw it out there because Apple has been doing S-series for almost all phones except the 7 and 8 (which basically was a 7S). Technically, this year should be an 11S Pro, but all rumors point to 12.

It’s a new design so will be called iphone 12. They only use the S designation when the chassis is completely the same with only updated internals. It’s still a part of the X generation of phones though, as still has the ugly notch.
