Hey guys.
I have found a strange behavior of my iPhone 12 Pro Max and was able to reproduce it on an iPhone 12 and another 12 Pro Max.
Situation:
iOS 14.2.1 and 14.3 running on the iPhone 12/ 12 Pro Max.
Open the camera app, switch to your front camera and select timelapse.
When you start recording a timelapse video while holding the device in your hand everything is fine.
But position your device on a table so that your whole body is visible on screen:
The displayed image from the front camera becomes laggy as hell with like 1 or 2 fps.
The video recorded however is fine.
Apple support on Twttr says it‘s supposed to be normal behavior but it is clearly not since I wasn‘t able to reproduce that malfunction on an iPhone 11 Pro Max or 11.
I wonder if you can recreate this problem.
Can you?
