Interestingly with the same flat edge design the iPhone 12/12 mini/12 pro is thinner than the iPhone SE was at 7.4 mm compared to 7.6 mm. With the antenna placement and looks - the iPhone 12 mini really is like the new iPhone SE everyone wanted instead of the revamped iPhone 8 we got. Exciting! I sold my XS (for maximum pre announcement £) and I’ve been using my old SE for 2 weeks so it’s quite easy to imagine how the new phones will feel in the hand.

If it's true that they maintained battery life compared to the 11 series the thinner and more compact designs are the most exciting part of today's announcements (for me).
