What’s going on with the iPhone 12 being on backorder everywhere? I just ordered my white iPhone 12 through t-mobile and it’s not scheduled to ship until the end of October, early November? I get that there’s a chip shortage but geez… a whole month almost two months to get a 12? Seems odd.

Not, Odd... Soon to be discontinued :( This is definitely not a good time to purchase iPhone 12. Wait, 1 more day.
Well it was through t-mobile to save money, so it made sense for us to make the switch. I don’t mind the wait as I’m saving money but I don’t see the 13 being much different or anything worth upgrading to.

If you’re getting the standard 12 then you done well, since the 13 won’t be getting 120hz and camera upgrades like the 13 pro model.

The standard 13 this year is going to be a disappointing upgrade this year, it’ll still sell like crazy though.

Yes. Just the regular 12. However, I’m now second guessing myself since people are saying Apple will no longer be making the regular 12 so now I’m worried I won’t be receiving my phone that I ordered…

I agree with everyone if you are getting the plain iPhone 12 , 13 wont be a big upgrade but the 13 Pro and The Pro Max I would hold out till Friday if you are doing the Pro models.. I bought a 12 mini last month knowing there isn’t much upgrade on the 13 mini ..

That’s the one I went with, just the standard 12. The 13 did not seem worth the upgrade whatsoever.

I agree.. no pro-motion, maybe a bigger battery .. I would still watch the event for maybe a hidden gem.. you still have 14 days to change your mind to a 13 if they do something cool
Oh I’ll definitely be watching the event. I always watch them :) excited to see all the new gadgets and what not.

You're better off waiting until after tomorrow - you either get the 12 at a discount, or get a 13 likely for the same price you'd be paying for the 12 today.

And we may start seeing the 12s in the Apple refurb store too at a decent discount.

The reason to cancel your order is that when you need to sell or trade in the device, you’ll get more money.

Also, it is virtually guaranteed to be supported for longer than the 12.
