Hi guys.

I just got my new iPhone 12 and I am dissapointed about the horrible lens flare that I detected when I take pictures, as you can see in the shared photos.

I tried to remove the case, restart, etc. but nothing worked. Do you think my iPhone 12 is faulty? I come from an iPhone 8 Plus and the camera didn't have this issue.

By the way, I find the camera app a bit laggy in this iPhone 12. The preview on the screen is not smooth, and when I take a picture it takes a few seconds to process.

Okay it seems after cleaning thoroughly both lenses the photos are showing better. But it is very weird, because previous photos were taken just after grabbing the phone from the box, so the lenses should be perfectly clean.

What would you do? Do you think it is faulty? Normally I didn't have to clean at all my previous iPhone cameras, and I had to clean this one after the first use.
