I bought less than 1 year 12 mini, but It's 83% battery performance now. even my old iphone se 1 is still 80%.

The problem is that apple support only fixes the problem less than 80%.

Does anyone have a similar issue?

My launch 12 mini is 88%. I wouldn't consider myself a power user, but there was a brief seven day period where I charged multiple times per day, around two or three times.

I use the mag charger.

My day 1 purchase 12 mini (October 2020) is currently at 93% which is about right. I never used wireless charging at all, magsafe or Qi charging which has probably helped my battery. Only used primarily 2.1 amp charger, slow 5W charger and sometimes my 18W iPad Air 4 charger (which charges very fast).

Its fine though guys, just replace the battery for about £50 and your 12 mini will be like new again.

My 12 Mini is at 95% after a little over a year usage. I too never use wireless charging which seems to wear down the battery quicker.

Like the previous post says, replacing the battery will get you back to new status.

You should try it in Apple Store. I was there with XS and 88% and still they replaced my battery. And definitely if you have Apple Care+.

There's all this talk about how Apple manages batteries fine regardless of how you treat them. But I still think it's best to usually slow charge, charge wired and generally keep battery between 40-80% charge. The battery will last for ages.

My day 1 iPhone 12 mini is also at 83%. I’ve only charged via a cable. I also would like to get my battery replaced.
