Just recently updated from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 12 mini. I'm having problems with the Wifi continually dropping out. This means I can't really use my phone at all for streaming or making calls over wifi.
I get between 25% and 50% packet loss when pinging a number of endpoints. I've tested this on 2 different wireless networks at the moment, my old iphone 7 has no issues (0% packet loss) when connected to the same networks.
I've tried with and without a magsafe case (although I doubt that would be the cause of interference). And also tried 1m away from the wireless access point. I've also tried with and without the low data and "private address" modes too, and this doesn't cause any changes. I also get timeouts pinging other devices on the network and when pinging the router.
Also updated to iOS 14.2 and this made no difference.
Does anyone else with an iphone 12 mini have the same issue? I'm really surprised to see the packet loss only on the new device...
