iPhone 12 Pro lock sound reverb, lock and videos

Mine sounds exactly like the one in this video:

I also get the weird reverb playing videos recorded on the phone. Pretty worried, this is my first iPhone. I have the Apple magsafe case, but even removed and rebooted it sounds weird. Happened right out of the box.

It does this as soon as the magsafe animation plays out, magsafe charger without power doesn’t do this. Only a reboot will fix the sound.

I have the exact same issue, even after rebooting the issue eventually comes back. Been reading other people complaining about the same issue, even a full reset and restore didn’t resolve the issue. Sounds like a bug in the software. Let’s hope it’s fixed in the next iOS version.

I was hoping the 14.2 update would fix it, but it's unchanged. I don't care that much about the lock sound, playing back recorded videos is where it's most annoying. It sounds like a dang B&W space movie. They play back fine on my computer so thankfully it's not a hosed microphone. Music sounds fantastic. I suspect there is a system-wide 3D EQ effect that should actually only be on during music playback.

i had this Issue already with my iPhone 11 Pro Max and now also with my 12 Pro. Hoping for so many Updates to fix it. I also reported it to Apple after every New Update.
