I've just dropped and smashed my iPhone 12 Pro Max (for the first time ever in the history of my iPhone ownership) because I'd removed the case so the MagSafe battery pack could stick to the phone. Oh well, £25 excess and losing my phone for 24 hours thanks to AppleCare+, but very annoying.
I am currently using a robust aftermarket silicone case for my iPhone bought on Amazon. I've thrown the phone against rocks on Scottish mountainsides and it's escaped without a scratch thanks to the case. The MagSafe battery pack will charge the phone with the case on, but it won't stick to the phone magnetically.
I can either not use the battery pack, or keep my phone naked without a case and run the risk of smashing it again.
Can anyone recommend a good case which I can use with my phone and have the MagSafe battery pack stick to the phone reliably?
Does Apple's £49 Silicone Case with MagSafe fulfil my requirement - before I go out and spend £49?
I'm in the UK if it makes any difference. Thanks.
