Hello all

Following problem: I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max which sporadically, about 5x a month while using an app suddenly has a black screen with a loading circle, where after 5-10 seconds I am then on the lockscreen and can continue working after that. I don't know what triggers this, but suspect that there is just a lot of junk on the device - I haven't reinstalled it since purchase at release and hundreds of apps have been installed and uninstalled in that time.

First question: does anyone have any ideas what this could really be due to and how to solve it?

Now I bought an iPhone 14 Pro Max and for the sake of simplicity I just wanted to transfer all the data from the 12 Pro max. But I wonder if at all when transferring all data could also transfer such problems?

That's a Springboard reload and is a result of the OS preventing a more serious crash. Likely the app you were using triggered a bug which made it crash.

What app were you using?

Thank you very much for the answer, at least I know now what the error is called.
The last time is now a good 2 weeks ago, unfortunately do not remember with which app that happened. But I could observe the behavior over various apps and it is very different. Sometimes it happens when opening an app, sometimes during normal use. Is there an option to systematically search the logs or what term is best to search for?

PS: I have a good 25 jetsamEvent logs
