Hey everyone.

I’ve been dealing with this for a little while now.

Any time I’m in the Home Screen, there’s a white foggy effect on my screen.

When I raise my phone, it’ll shift to total black (because of my background image) and then a second later it’ll light up with that weird fogginess. It’ll stay there as long as I’m on the Home Screen, whether scrolling through apps, etc.

The weirder thing is that this is only on the Home Screen. When I use a different app with a total black night mode, or image with completely black color, the foggy effect isn’t there and it acts like an OLED display should with a black screen.

Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas?

Have you tried a force restart?

To do this: click volume up, volume down, and then press and hold the sleep/wake button until you see the apple logo appear.

I have, and no luck. I’ve even rest the phone and nothing.

I guess I’ll have to go to the store and see what they can do.
