I recently purchased a refurbished iPhone 12 pro max. I started to set it up and answered a question ( can't remember it) I thought I answered correctly. However something happened and now when I try to access the phone all I get is a super fast verbal repeat of the numbers I tap and nothing happens. I once opened the phone by pushing each number an inordinate amount times, and that too, had all the functions picked responded with the extremely fast verbal repeating of the screen prompts. What's the next step. Thanks from a new be Bill

Yep-
Set it up again. Obviously something went wrong.
If it’s a genuine Apple refurbished iPhone then it’s definitely a good phone.
If it was refurbished by anyone else - then the phone could be malfunctioning
