Screen going light and dark

Since today I noticed that my screen goes a little dark and than a little brighter. And then back to little brighter and darker.. Not all the time, but it comes and goes. The automatic screen thingy is off.

I have latest iOS and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Anyone has this problem of know what I mean? It’s hard to explain.

Got this iPhone for like 3/4 months now.

I don’t really know it happens, but I’ve been having this happen since launch day. The only way I’ve been able to get around it is by changing some settings around. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Auto Brightness. That should fix it, but it may drain your battery faster.

It's called dimming...if the phone gets warm the brightness going "down".
Usually if you're on charger and using the phone it happens, or in the summer if It's too hot.
It keeps battery health.
I was about to write about it on this forum, since it is incredibly annoying not being able to play pubg without getting brightness down, and we are talking about the most expensive phone in the universe with bionic a13 bla bla...the best chip and so on.
Even now while I am writing this I am on the charger... dimming is on.
I had to buy a chinese phone that is 10 times cheaper just to be able to play pubg.
So irritating.
