You really think those two look similar? 😧

The color in the middle is what we should be getting. It would be coherent with the elegant and luxury color of the 11 pro.

Instead we get something in between blue and green, shown on the left, and it saddens me.

The 12 pro pacific blue is a color that doesnt know what it wants to be, its a bad design choice and quite unlike Apple. It feels like they rushed it and produced a color that doesnt...punch.. its ambiguous.

Still it doesn't matter. They need to be seen in real life and not on product photos. I would assume it will match the Apple Watch blue finish, which is not green at all.
This. You'll need to see it in person.

The product photos for the midnight green pro looked very green - however, in person the green had way more of a black tint to it (and looked way better than the product photos IMHO).

Pro model will not match the Apple Watch 6 color... The Navy 12 Max will.

I was thinking this whole topic was nonsense before seeing the comparison you made. Now it cant be unseen and it really seems little dull and greenish. 🤯

It absolutely reminds me of BMW's Long Beach Blue paint (launch colorway on the BMW M2, if I recall). Blue, but with a definite tint of green. Also fits the "Pacific" narrative. Amazing color in person, which I'm sure PB will be as well. Not really my favorite (Estoril Blue guy myself) but I will go with PB this iteration as it seems to be a limited colorway. 12 Pro (6.1"), PB.

luxury color? They sell these at Walmart....

boo hoo the color isn’t what you would call “pacific blue”.
#bluegate blue iPhones matter

It’s not green. Guess some haven’t seen the Pacific Ocean from the Cali point of view? The Pacific Blue is an ocean blue and it’s lovely. I’m patiently waiting for November 6th to order.

I thought we were getting a Navy Blue, but remember, everything is a rumor until the truth is revealed.

I like the blue on the non-Pro 12 as well and would have purchased if the color was made for the Pro.

What are your thoughts about the Gold color this year?

I liked the copper-bronze on the XS Max I had better. The copper-bronze is why I bought it - it wasn’t really gold-gold. I’m partial to silver over gold. Most of my jewelry is white gold and silver.

If you really like Gold, you should go for it. It’s probably the truest Gold they have brought out to date.

Blue is my favorite color, partly why I haven’t changed my avatar in years. I have been waiting for YEARS for Apple to have a blue phone. So I’m really biased and will tell you to get Pacific Blue even if Gold is your favorite color, lol
