iPhone 12 Product Red Case - No On Screen Animation

Hi,

When you put on a one of the new Apple Cases on your IPhone 12 / 12 Pro isn’t there suppose to be an on screen animation? Just in the same way when you connect the Magesafe charger.

Anyway this never happens when I put on the new Product Red cases. Anyone not having this animation?

It seems hit or miss. I saw it for the first time yesterday when I took my case off for a sec and put it back in top first.

Same here, blue apple silicon case. Seen the animation just once!

I noticed the animation only happens if you put your case on while device is locked (display off). Idk if its purpose or just a bug? iOS 14.2 should hit up the next few days (today it entered RC), lets see
