Hey guys! Brand new iPhone 12 user here!

My power and my volume up button are ok, but my volume down button almost does like 2 click sounds at once. Has anyone experienced this? Is this a faulty button? Or is this normal?

As far as I can tell, it takes 16 single presses to get form 0 - 100%. If yours is getting there a lot faster (or down) than that, you are pressing more than you realize or possibly have a faulty button.

@Apple_Robert hey man, no it’s counting the same 16 clicks both ways, thing is the sound and feel of clicking the lower volume is completely different because it feels like a double click, does 2 click noises

There are two clicks in you count 1 click for depressing of the button and another click for its release. If you are hearing something / feeling something different, that isn't right.

My down volume button acts the same as my up volume button.

@Apple_Robert that is a great way to put it and it will help me better explain:

- volume up, there’s a click when pressing and a smaller one when released
- volume down, there’s a click when pressing, and then there’s two when releasing!

That description doesn't depict normal action. Have you spilled anything on your phone or used it with sticky, wet, or otherwise grimy hands etc? Has anything bumped into the phone or has it suffered a fall of some kind? I would contact Apple Support about your phone. You can message them using the Apple Support app.
