My question is what are the benefits of this ? Will we be able to tell the difference on a 6.1 or 6.7 pro screen ?

It won’t be full 10 bit colour

It’s 8+2 and they aren’t the first. Note 20 ultra has it and I think a few others do as well

It will be very noticeable in full brightness as it will pop more

No the ultra only supports 16.7 billion 8 bit colour support

8-bit = millions of colors
10-bit = 1 billion colors

only phone I know of with 10-bit color. Not even the iPad Pro or MAcBook Pro have 10-bit color Displays

is the One Plus 8 Pro which I’m gonna pick up just for the Display. Feast Your eyes on Apple’s IPhone Specs for 2021.

P.S. When watching the video just imagine that’s an Apple ad at the keynote in 2021.

Lol opps my bad! but boy oh boy in the past few days you have been on a anti apple rampage , confuses me why your on this site to begin with 😂

Regardless if the next iPhones will have 10-bit color, the difference I think is most prominent when streaming content with dark scenes. You won't get as much banding (pixelation) in dark areas, because the display would be able to produce much more colors.
