iPhone 13 mini/Pro/Max users, did your "Unlock With Apple Watch" feature stop working?

I cannot get this to work with my new phone at all. I keep getting an "Unable to Communicate with Apple Watch" error message. I'm on iOS 15 and WatchOS 8. Anyone else having problems? I've tried resetting / re-pairing/ restarting, you name it.

I have an Apple Watch Series 3, for what's it worth.

I love this feature and is a gamechanger during COVID. Hope it can be fixed. 😕

Yes, known and widely reported bug. (Argh.) Apple is very aware...how fast they'll fix it, who knows. Since this worked with the 12 and earlier FID phones on 14.7 and up, and also worked with the FID phones on 15.0, I wonder if there's a hardware problem rather than a firmware/OS problem, but I am not an engineer.
