iPhone 13 pro max disaster focusing

Hello all. Just got iphone 13 pro max, and What The Fudge?? Camera’s focus is off the charts all time low, low-light focusing is absolute trash, and when flash needed focus is just non-existing. Back years ago I had sony ericsson k800i and remember walking down in the dark cellar and in pitch black took this absolutely amazing photo and now iphone 13 pro max is an absolute trash when it comes to photos- the freaking focus changes weirdly and loses focus not to mention if you are actually lucky enough to focus in first place. Are there any remedies for the issues?

Perhaps you should have a look at the various settings. They change the behaviour of the camera depending on what you want. We have iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 Pro and we have no problems.
