So the wife has been using the phone for a few months now, tried a few different brands of glass screen protectors, and they all just last about 2 weeks before the upper left corner lifts a little bit, creating a pinky size bubble. Has anyone had this problem before? We've had many phones before, and this is the first time with such an issue. Would the Apple store be able to do anything in this case?

Nope. You could always have the Apple store use their screen protector machine to install it for you for free if you buy directly from them.

If there is no damage otherwise, at it's age it should be under warranty.
Why not request a warranty repair?
