With the introduction of iOS 16 they removed the old live wallpapers as the hold gesture is for loading the wallpaper switcher. With that feature removed what has happened to the iPhone 13 exclusive wallpaper? I know it’s not a big issue but I liked it.

I also noticed this! Lots of new wallpapers which is great but no option to select the "older" ones that came with my iPhone 13 Pro. I will report this to see if there is a fix going forward as it is nice to have the original wallpapers.

The dynamic effect doesn't bother me so much and luckily I still have the original blue light version on the phone from the upgrade but I cannot set this as one of the new lock screens with widgets.

I noticed this as well when I installed the PB the other day. I liked the wallpaper gallery they had and to remove them seems a bit silly. I reverted back to iOS 15.5, so I'm hoping that Apple will re-introduce them in a later beta.

I hope the iOS 13 wallpapers (like the orange/red one) that got removed in iOS 15 make a return

I still use the blue one, or a variation of it depending on the case of the day. Obviously no animation but still looks great.

Really sucks that my 13 Mini can't have dynamic wallpaper that my M1 MacBook Pro does. It scenery reflects the time of day, amount of sunlight.

It‘s normal that they delete previous wallpapers with new releases. Only way to keep them is to never change away from them or download them from a website and store them in your photo library.

I‘m pretty sure it‘s just Apple killing the iPhone 13 era wallpapers, the usual business.

It's particularly annoying with Live wallpapers and Dark Mode supported ones since those aren't so easy to recreate with a still image.

I have an archive of every wallpaper, doesn’t matter if it’s iPad wallpapers, iPhone wallpapers, iOS wallpapers, or macOS wallpapers. If you need them ask me. And for the one looking for the iPhone 12 Wallpapers, here ya go for the standard. I’ll try to get live ones.
