iPhone 13 with os17.0.3 does not support Renault’s apple car system r-link Release 7.0.24.161.

I guess apple is to blame.

After a few weeks, the problem disappeared.
No updates were done in the mean time.

This was not for no reason. I did the update and Apple car stopped working.

Then it magically fixed itself... Is it possible that you restarted your phone within that time?

I code since 1980 (Fortran, Pascal, C, some Python, Matlab).
I used an Apple II in 1981, have a physics PhD and worked in high Tech for 23 years.
Yes, I rebooted my iPhone.
And yes, it seems strange that CarPlay started working again magically after a few days.
Perhaps 2 reboots were required.
