You’re not paying $1000 for a phone in beta. The hardware is perfectly fine, but iOS 16 very much is in a beta state. I don’t know what is going on with Apple‘s iOS team. It was the same with iOS 15. If I remember right, most of the bugs were gone by iOS 15.1 and it was normal by 15.2. I’m hoping for the same with iOS 16.
The bugs I experienced on iOS 16 so far are connection drop outs of both cellular and Wi-Fi, Siri completely malfunctioning unable to do things it should be able to do without a connection, webpages failing to properly render in Safari, stuttering when scrolling, and that’s all I can think of right now, but I’m sure there’s more. I haven’t experienced the issues are you’re having.
From iOS 14 all the way back to maybe iOS 6 it wasn’t like this. Of course, this is a sample size of one, but I can only say what my experience is.
