Phone definitely gets warm during charging. Even when I don’t use fast charging. Anyone else experiencing this?

Every iPhone that I've owned has gotten warm while charging along with the charging brick.. Do you mean abnormally warm?

Wouldn’t say abnormally warm no. I know it’s not uncommon but it only happened every now and then on my 13 Pro and was wondering if others were having it too. Thanks!

This is normal behavior. Some chargers using wireless charging specifically have fans behind them for this exact reason.

I understand wireless charging doing that, and also wired fast charging as well. But I thought with 5w it wouldn’t get warm but still seems to. Thanks for your reply.

I kept the new one plugged in as much as possible for the first few days while it completed downloading indexing and whatever else it does. It did get warm but it’s fine now.
