Whenever I leave an APP that can reproduce sound in background I risk my iPhone will not ring on incoming call (it doesn't need to be playing).
- Open YouTube, play song, stop song, return to home screen, turn off the display and you imediatelly risk your phone will not ring. Only solution is to close all apps after you use them.
- The more apps you open the risk that your phone will not ring is higher (open Netflix, HBO, YouTube, Apple Music, Instagram (stories) etc.)
- It affect ALL TYPES OF CALLS. No matter if that's phone call, whatsapp or messenger call, your ringtone will cut off within 2 seconds.

Link above shows how it looks with messenger call. (I had notes, calendar, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Safari and Livescore opened in background). If I close YouTube, Twitter and Instagram my phone will ring normally.
- It doesn't happen with every call. I approximately miss every third.
I have two theories. Either iPhone doesn't manage to control RAM which eventually ends up with cutting off my ringtone or something is accessing my speakers during the call. As you can see, melody cuts off within 2 second after start of calling.
- It doesn't affect alarm (thank God), just calls.
Gotta say I spent hours and days of testing. I reinstalled software 3 times, created new Apple ID and removed all APPs. I feel I tried everything I could. It's really related to software or RAM managing. No, attention awareness feature turning off will not help. Changing ringtone will not help. Reseting iPhone will help for as long as you don't start using APPS. Especially APPs with sound. You better keep closing all these APP imediatelly after you use them.
