There’s an issue with the new notch. Its lower edge is further down in comparison to 13 pro.
This presents a problem when watching 21:9 aspect ratio content. I’ve attached illustrations. MKBHD for instance uses this format on YouTube. 13 Pro pushes the content all the way to the edge of the notch while keeping the content centred.
With the 14 pro there’s three options. First it could be the notch is going to eat a portion of the content. Second would be to move the content towards the right off centre which would make it unsymmetrical, and the edges on the right side would be cut off. Third option is to shrink the content but that would introduce horizontal black borders.
